Another exciting announcement – Northside Car Keys Brisbane can now program replacement keys for Land Rover vehicles. This is great news for our Brisbane Land Rover drivers! We can now offer an alternative to paying top dollar at the dealership. Due to the release of new technology, we can now program Land Rover smart keys for most models from the time smart keys were introduced. We have been able to supply and program spare keys in the past, but have needed an existing key to work from. Now Northside Car Keys Brisbane can supply and program new smart keys to your Land Rover or Range Rover from scratch – when you have lost your last key and have none left. This is an exciting development for us as we constantly aim to widen our scope of services and develop the abilities of our specialist auto locksmiths.

Land Rover have been issuing smart keys since 2007. The Land Rover Freelander 2’s slot key was the first smart key from Land Rover, which was inserted into a slot in the dashboard. This was followed by the smart key released with the Land Rover Discovery 4 in 2009. This was more sophisticated with features of keyless entry and push-button ignition. The remaining Land Rover models followed with the Land Rover Vogue and Range Rover Sport upgrading to a smart key in 2010, and the Range Rover Evoque when launched in 2011.
